A mixed portfolio makes your tax position harder to see
Your shares, ETFs, bonds and crypto may be spread across multiple brokers, exchanges and wallets.
Different assets and income types leave you with separate statements, transaction histories and tax calculations.
When it is time to complete your Self Assessment, you are left piecing everything together by hand just to understand your overall tax position.
